Accessibility statement
Updated: November 2026
Our commitment
We want everyone to be able to use Kitavoo, including people with disabilities. The site and the app are made accessible under Israel’s Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law, 1998, and its Service Accessibility Regulations, 2013.
Standard
We aim for Israeli Standard 5568, which is based on WCAG 2.0, at level AA. This statement covers this site and the Kitavoo app you sign in to.
What we have done
- Full keyboard navigation with a clear focus indicator, and a “skip to main content” link in the app.
- Labels on form fields and buttons, and text alternatives for images, for screen readers.
- Colour contrast of at least 4.5:1 for regular text.
- Text can be enlarged and pages fit narrow phone screens without losing content.
- The page language and writing direction (right to left in Hebrew and Arabic) are set on every page.
- Each screen has its own title, and focus moves to the new content when you change screens.
- The device’s “reduce motion” setting is respected, and the site has a button to stop its animations.
- Every image and every post the app creates can be given a text alternative.
How we checked
In November 2026 we ran an automated check of the site and the app’s main screens: contrast, labels, names of buttons and links, heading structure, keyboard navigation and fitting a 320-pixel width. We fixed what it found. A full review by a certified accessibility auditor, or with screen reader users, has not been done yet.
What is not fully accessible yet
- The posts calendar: on a narrow screen it scrolls sideways. A list view is available.
- Images and videos the app creates for a business: their text is part of the picture, and videos may not include captions. Add a text alternative to each post before publishing.
- The chart on the analytics screen: the same data can be shown as a table.
- External services the app sends you to, such as Stripe’s payment page, the Google Drive and Dropbox pickers and the social networks themselves, are their providers’ responsibility.
Found a problem?
If something on the site or in the app is not accessible to you, we want to hear about it and help. Write to our accessibility coordinator and tell us which page it was, what you were trying to do and which browser or assistive technology you used.
